Visita de Justin Stevenston

Justin Steventon que es el desarollador del software Cybertracker visitará la EBD la próxima semana. Justin viene de Redmond, WA, EE.UU., invitado por el Equipo de Seguimiento  de Procesos Naturales. Estara en Sevilla del 8 al 12 de Febrero. Cualquier persona interesada contactar con él,  debe hablar con Hugues Lefranc, hugo@ebd.csic.es

Justin dará un seminario en la EBD el martes 9 de Febrero a la 1:00 pm con el Título:"Cybertracker: New Technologies for Long-Term Biodiversity Monitoring"

Resumen:

Climate change, pollution, habitat destruction and loss of biodiversity may have serious impacts on human welfare. To anticipate and prevent negative impacts will require ongoing long-term monitoring of all aspects of the environment.
Our vision is to enable people to be part of a worldwide environmental monitoring network. Our mission is to help you improve environmental monitoring by increasing the efficiency of data gathering and to improve observer reliability.
CyberTracker has created a software application which allows a broad range of users to capture rich and highly customized environmental data.
